This trek takes you higher than Mont Blanc, bothe while when summiting the Kale Pattar at 5540 m and when reaching Everest base camp at 5380 m.
Guided by Belgian Everest expedition members as well as English speaking Sherpa.
Spectacular helicopter flight through the Himalayas.
We provide preparation and full support with customized training plans, fitness and altitude acclimatization tests + weekly and monthly group training session.
We start our trek with a spectacular flight from the capital of Kathmandu to the mountain village Lukla at a height of 2860 m.
From there we walk to the base of the Mount Everest and we climb to the top of the Kala Pattar on 5540 m with the world's best scenic view of the Everest range.
During our trek, we will also get acquainted with the traditional culture of the Sherpas and with renowned Buddhist monasteries such as Tengboche.
We will walk in the footsteps of Hillary and Tenzing, the first people on the top of Mount Everest.

Departure Katmandu - Lhasa for the climbers
The trek to Everest Base Camp is demanding but with proper guidance and preparation, no previous experience is required.
However, one needs to be in good shape in order to be able to slope up and down 4 to 7 hours a day with a small backpack. The path is well maintained upto Gorak Shep.
Beyond Gorak Shep, we walk on moraine terrain of the south Everest glacier towards Everest base camp.
The ascent of Kala Pattar does not require any technical climbing experience.
